We regret to inform you that Potter Elementary and the surrounding areas are currently experiencing an unexpected power outage. As a result, we will have students eat lunch, and then we will proceed with dismissal at 1:00 p.m. Please be assured that bus transportation will be operational, and parents who wish to pick up their children may do so at 1:00 p.m. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this unforeseen circumstance and appreciate your understanding.

Dear Potter Elementary Families, We hope this message finds you well. Unfortunately, we must inform you of an unexpected event that has occurred at Potter Elementary and the surrounding school community area. Due to a vehicle accident, our school has experienced a loss of power. We want to assure you that we are actively working to address this issue. Consumers Energy has dispatched a team to the area to identify and restore power as swiftly as possible. However, in light of the current circumstances and for the safety of all our scholars and staff, we have decided to close the school today. We understand the inconvenience this may cause, but please know that the safety and well-being of everyone in our school community are our highest priorities.
POTTER ELEMENTARY ONLY:
⢠Early dismissal at 1:00 pm.
⢠Lunch will be provided to all scholars.
⢠Transportation home (for scholars who normally ride the bus home) will be provided for the scholars.
⢠Scholars who do not normally ride the bus home, parents/guardians may pick up your children beginning at noon.
