Let's Go FCS! TOMORROW IS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL and it's a HALF DAY FOR OUR SCHOLARS! We are still enrolling students, and our enrollment office has been busy, but it is not too late. We can't wait to see all your smiling faces and embark on this school year journey together.

Welcome Back Potter families! We are excited to welcome scholars back to a new school year in a freshly renovated building. Our main office has changed to the North west side of the building. This is where guests, parents and those scholars who get dropped off at school will enter and exit the building. We will now have the busses in the South end parking lot. There will be no parking past the basketball court to allow for buses to make a loop. We will have staff out helping to direct cars and families with this new transition. Exciting things are happening at Flint Community Schools! Our administrators are working tirelessly this summer weekend to enhance communication, foster a strong professional community, and set clear action plans for the 2024-25 school year. Please remember that any student entering kindergarten, going into the 7th grade, or newly enrolling/re-enrolling into the district is required, by the state, to be up to date on their required childhood immunizations. These students will not be allowed to start school until they either show an up to date immunization record or a waiver from the health department. You can see your doctor, go to the health department, or take advantage of the immunization clinic times that the district will be offering at the end of this month.
